The Third Annual Cultural Competency in Family Law Practice seminar is coming Saturday, July 25, 2015. This year’s seminar is a full day panel discussion and lunch with family law Judicial Officers and family law practitioners.
This seminar will be the first to analyze the impact and implications of nationwide Same-Sex Marriage in California Family law practice. We’ll cover divorces where one or both parties are immigrants (authorized or unauthorized), and how psychological issues and immigration law impacts divorces, and vice versa. We’ll deal with divorces where the parties are of different races, faiths or cultures. We’ll deal with gray divorces that can turn into probates, and Competency, Retirement, and Survivorship may be major issues. And a lot more.
