Judge Bruce J. Einhorn (ret.) joined the Iranian American Lawyers Association celebrating Norouz at its Spring mixer in the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City. IALA was honored to nominate and recommend Judge Einhorn to the State Bar of California as a candidate for the Bar?s certificate of appreciation in 2004. State Bar President, John Van de Kamp presented Honorable Einhorn with a certificate of appreciation at the Iranian American Lawyers Association?s 10th anniversary gala at the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel in 2004.

There were over 50 attorneys and law students from Southwestern Law School, Whittier Law School, La Verne Law School and Glendale University College of Law in attendance. Also attending were a number of IALA founders and former presidents, Cyrus Nownejad, James Sadigh (1999) , Zohreh Mizrahi (1997), Steve Sepassi (2001) and P. Patrick Ashouri (2004 & 2006), Kouroush Behzadi (2007) who?s efforts and continuity of support were acknowledged and appreciated.

IALA vice president Vishta Farahani, former prosecutor in New York, and Behnaz Faridian, Board Member, welcomed the attendees, briefed them on IALA activities to date and invited volunteers to sign up for IALA Law Day and Pro Bono activities.
