Los Angeles, - (June 2006) - Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) elected the Iranian American Lawyers Association, its affiliate association member,  to be represented on its board of trustees. 

This relationship is of historical significance of a minority lawyers association to be present on LACBA’s board. 

We are honored and IALA’s board has with great pleasure accepted this and we look forward  to working closer with the members of the association, the Bar and the Bench. 
As the trustee and appointed by the board, P. Patrick Ashouri will represent the association, its members, constituencies and the Community’s interests and needs.
